Vision Documents and Site Promotion
FPCR works with landowners, developers and agents to promote suitable sites for allocation, through the emerging Local Plan process.
Vision Documents help to establish the guiding principles for future delivery of sustainable development and Green Infrastructure. They tend to include preliminary environmental, social and economic assessment work to help to inform the initial masterplanning of sites. As part of this process, FPCR would analyse the landscape character, and recommend a sustainable development strategy. The outcome of this initial appraisal is driven by the assessed environmental capacity of the settlement form and its countryside setting, taking into account potential constraints such as heritage, biodiversity and visual impact.
