Barnsley Council have formally adopted the Hoyland West Masterplan Framework, following a Full Council meeting. FPCR have undertaken the masterplanning for the strategic, mixed-use site, located at Junction 36 of the M1. The site has been allocated in the Council’s Local Plan for 49ha of employment uses, and 100 houses. FPCR have prepared the Masterplan Framework – a strategic document that sits beneath the Local Plan and will inform future planning applications. The documents sets out key design principles for emerging development on the site.
