Working on behalf of Newlands Developments, we have provided input into a full planning application submitted to Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council for 920,000 sq. ft. of high-quality employment space at Equites Park Basingstoke, located at M3 Junction 7.
The scheme will generate approximately 1,100 direct long-term jobs and will deliver an estimated £18 million on local procurement during development.
The FPCR team have worked closely with UMC Architects to ensure that the design assimilates well with the setting, considering the effects of the scheme from a range of viewpoints. The design of elevations has been informed by an Environmental Colour Assessment produced by FPCR, whilst orientation and massing of the units has been informed by the visual analysis. We have also provided expertise on Ecology and Arboriculture.
The scheme boasts some impressive environmental credentials, with 50% of the site given over to green and blue infrastructure, delivering Biodiversity Net Gain of over 29%, and targeting BREEAM Outstanding.
