North Norfolk DC has resolved to grant outline planning permission for residential development in Cromer. The scheme is for up to 118 new homes together with up to 60 units of specialist elderly care. Accessed from Overstrand Road, the development will include new public open space with a play area and recreational routes within the established landscape setting.
On behalf of Gladman Developments Ltd, FPCR were responsible for landscape, ecology and arboricultural services, including the Landscape and Visual Appraisal, Design and Access Statement, Development Framework and Illustrative Layout, a suite of ecological surveys and an arboricultural survey along with associated reports to support the planning application. We also prepared the material for and attended a ‘face to face’ public engagement event held in December 2022.
