FPCR Secure an Exciting New Project

FPCR have successfully secured an exciting new project with Charnwood Borough Council to produce a masterplan for The Outwoods.

The Outwoods is a 45 hectare site of ancient woodland, which is ecologically and geologically interesting, whilst also being very well used and highly valued by visitors. It is situated in the north-eastern part of the Charnwood Forest and on the eastern edge of the National Forest.

The masterplan will explore the integral role The Outwoods plays within the wider landscape and settlement context, identifying the potential for wider partnerships and future projects that address the constraints and opportunties identified.

This is a project with short timescales and the FPCR team look forward to responding quickly and creatively to the brief. The finalised masterplan will be a key document informing the development of a Round 2 Heritage Lottery Funding submission by Charnwood.
