We are delighted that construction work can now commence on the long-awaited town centre at Cranbrook in Devon. East Devon District Council approved three planning applications for the scheme, comprising a town square, supermarket, apartments, retail units and a nursery. This forms a major milestone in the continued development of Cranbrook.

We have been involved in the development of Cranbrook New Town from the outset, providing landscape, urban design and arboricultural services. In this latest scheme we undertook the landscape design and public realm design, working in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team. The scheme is set around a new town square, comprising high quality public realm for markets, events and outdoor café space.

The supermarket and nursery form the first phase of the scheme, due to be completed by summer 2023.
