Approval of reserved matters for 116 dwellings has just been attained for this allocated site for Persimmon Homes North London located just outside the Chiltern Hills AONB.

Our architecture team provided the lead on developing the detailed site layout and dwelling designs from the Outline approval masterplan. Working closely with South Oxfordshire District Council and the client we were able to achieve a design that meets local needs, provides good site efficiencies and was respectful of local character and the ecology constraints found on the site. This included a study of traditional materials and detailing used in the village and surrounding Chiltern Hills AONB to develop character areas that provide both ease of wayfinding within the site and a sense of identity. For the dwellings, designs were developed to meet the specific Section 106 space standard requirements, including some bespoke apartment buildings.
