New Ecology team members join FPCR York

FPCR is delighted to welcome Annina Eales, Senior Ecologist and Sharleen Hanlon, Ecologist to our northern team. Together, they have over 20 years’ of consultancy experience and a strong track record of planning and managing protected species surveys and producing related ecological reports.

The FPCR York office was set up in January 2017 and after one year has expanded its ecology team to eight members of staff. Having started out with three permanent team members, we are pleased that the team has been able to grow so substantially over their first year and quickly become well-established as an ecological consultancy in northern England and Scotland.

In addition to the appointment of Annina and Sharleen, we are also pleased to report that Andrew Brennan, one of FPCR York’s founding team leaders, has recently been promoted to Principal Ecologist in recognition of his extensive experience of a wide range of field skills, survey techniques, reporting and project management.

James Eales, Associate for FPCR York: “We are delighted with how successful FPCR York’s first year has been and the steady growth of our team. The 2017 survey season took us across the whole of the North of England and into Scotland, working on over 80 projects both large and small for both new and existing clients.  We believe that it is our attention to detail, high standards of ecological surveys and reporting and our focus on client aspirations that has resulted in such a successful first year and the continued requests from clients to have FPCR deliver the ecological elements of their schemes.”

We look forward to reporting on FPCR York through the 2018 season.
