FPCR were involved in a Historic Landscape and Parkland Tree Assessment of Buckminster Park, 7 miles east of Melton Mowbray within the Leicestershire countryside. The site comprised a stately family home with private gardens and an extensive area of open parkland surrounded by woodland and arable farmland that provides local employment. The objective was to implement a comprehensive long-term management plan for trees within the Park, with a view to fully survey the existing tree stock, prepare a planting schedule in terms of positions and species and develop an appropriate long term tree management strategy.
