Lead design and environmental consultants for the mixed use urban extension development project, granted outline planning approval for 850 dwellings, up to 23ha of commercial development, a hotel, a care home, supporting local centre and community uses and associated infrastructure, landscape and public open space proposals. The site extends to approximately 82 ha and wraps around the southern edge of the town.
The practice prepared the adopted Masterplan SPD for the scheme prior to supporting the successful outline planning application. The Development Framework and Design and Access Statement were prepared alongside other environmental studies, including the Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment and Arboricultural Assessment. Residential and Commercial development ‘Proving’ Layouts were prepared alongside detailed development schedules and housing mixes to demonstrate the viability and deliverability of the scheme. On-going masterplanning and detailed design and landscape services being provided, in advance of reserved matters applications.
