Nottingham Trent University students visited FPCR’s main office here at Lockington hall recently for an Ecological Consultancy training day.
The students (with an age range of 17 to 50) are currently studying a Land and Wildlife Management (Wildlife Conservation) Diploma at the universities Brackenhurst campus.
Students engaged in both lecture based and practical sessions taught by FPCR’s very own consultants covering a variety of aspects. These ranged from legislation and habitats to bottle trapping for Great Crested Newts to endoscoping trees for bats!
All new found skills were applied in the “Lockington Hall Extension” project where the students took all the necessary steps from the initial stage through to completion of their very own developmental project.
