Planning approval has been secured for a new residential development of 35 homes at Kirk Langley, Derbyshire. Appointed by Nottingham based Clarendon Land Development, FPCR provided masterplannning, landscape and arboricultural services as part of an outline planning application for new homes, green space, and additional land for the village primary school. FPCR produced a sensitively designed masterplan that addressed the settlement pattern, the interrelationship with the neighbouring village, the adjacent Conservation Area, and key policies of the Neighbourhood Plan. FPCR prepared the scheme’s Deign & Access Statement together with technical work in the form of a Landscape & Visual Appraisal, and Arboricultural Assessment.
