A fourth positive decision for FPCR in 2018 in Central Bedfordshire alone. This time for up to 145 dwellings at Meppershall. FPCR provided the settlement character, landscape and visual evidence at the public inquiry in April. In his decision, the Inspector found no material harm to the landscape of the site and its surroundings or to the character of the wider Landscape Character Area and no significant visual effects. He also advised; ‘The Development Framework Plan illustrates the potential for a development of appropriate scale and design within the site’s context and which respects local character in compliance with Policy DM3.’
