A team of Landscape Architects from our Lockington office headed into Nottingham City Centre to check out a number of new projects taking place in the city. The trip began with a visit to FPCR’s very own project at Unity Square, an impressive new government building in the city centre, for which FPCR has provided detailed hard and soft landscape design. The team then went to see new landscaping and open space along Canal Street and Sussex Street before heading towards Nottingham Castle and having fun exploring its new, outdoor playground. The final project to be visited was the refurbished Sneinton Market Avenues with their bustling artisan shops and cafes. It appears to be an exciting time of change for Nottingham City, providing plenty for our team to explore and of course no trip out is complete without a stop to re-fuel with the team enjoying a selection of tasty Thai food in the city.
The trip is part of FPCR’s commitment to the continuing professional development of its teams. To find out more about what it is like working for FPCR, check out the careers page on our website.
