FPCR were the lead consultant for the development of 850 homes, Local Centre-Primary School, and Country Park on the northern edge of Aylesbury. FPCR were involved throughout the planning process, from inception and concept masterplanning to the submission of the outline and subsequent reserved matters planning applications. FPCR produced the Development Brief for the site, which was adopted by the Local Authority as Supplementary Planning Guidance and also the Environmental Statement and Masterplan.
Following the outline consent, FPCR produced a Design Code, which features as an exemplar in the Milton Keynes – South Midlands Sustainable Communities Guide.
