Land at Upper Outwoods, Burton upon Trent has outline planning consent for 950 dwellings, a mixed use local centre, a primary school and a substantial green infrastructure framework. FPCR were the masterplanning and environmental consultants and project managed the planning application.
The practice prepared the scheme’s Masterplan and Design & Access Statement and coordinated the application’s Environmental Statement. This included the preparation of a Landscape & Visual Impact Assessment, extensive ecological surveys and arboricultural services. The practice were also heavily involved in the consultation process and this included a public exhibition, a stakeholder’s workshop and pre-application meetings with the Local Authority and Parish Councils.
