The Forest Park forms a major part of this visitor attraction that is the centrepiece of the National Forest.
The 35 Ha forest park includes an art and sculpture trail, activity trail and wildlife trail, set within an arboretum of new woodlands.
The challenge of creating a viable leisure attraction whilst the new woodland establishes was a met with a wide range of facilities and features. Detailed features include a water play glade, forest sound glade, assault course and willow swamp with boardwalks, labyrinth, wildlife viewing hide and train link to the waterside Visitor Centre.
