FPCR at the University of Nottingham

FPCR were once again invited to tutor on the University of Nottingham EIA field course in April, focussed on projects around Matlock, Derbyshire. The module requires students to undertake research, site assessment and data analysis before presenting their design process and proposals incorporating mitigation at the end of the field week. Consultants Katharine Schofield and Helen Kirk provided guidance and advice on landscape, masterplanning, arboricultural and impact assessment matters to undergraduate Chemical and Environmental Engineering students on their assigned development projects that ranged from quarrying and waste disposal to leisure and tourism.

Katharine Schofield also delivers a lecture on EIA and the project design process at the University earlier on in the module.
