Previously a spoil heap, then a ski-slope, this forlorn site at Cossall in Nottinghamshire will be given a new lease of life as housing and a country park.
The development proposals comprise 64 new homes, and the transformation of the former ski-slope into a country park, with footpath connections through to the adjacent canal. Broxtowe Borough Council’s planning committee gave the scheme the go-ahead, and work is due to commence imminently.
Our masterplanning team worked with engineers to deliver a workable scheme, despite the challenging gradients and ground conditions. We also undertook the Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment.
