The team here at FPCR worked hard to make (and eat) lots of tasty treats yesterday all in aid of Cupcake Day, helping to raise funds and awareness for Dementia suffers.
From Chocolate to Vanilla, Cinnamon to raspberry…..there was plenty of deliciousness to choose from.
Yesterday’s event was a huge success, raising just under £200 so far (with more mouth-watering cakes still to be had today)
Dementia is something we are all too familiar with here at FPCR and is something we have worked closely with in past projects. You can learn more about our dementia garden at New Wycliffe Care Home that was shortlisted in the National Dementia Care Awards ‘Best Dementia Garden’ category:

Dementia devastates lives. In the UK, someone develops dementia every three minutes, and there is currently no cure.
