Naomi has been working in Arboriculture and Ecology since 2005, she has worked as a tree surgeon, a London Planning Authority Tree and Landscapes Officer and as a private consultant in South East England, London and East Anglia.

Naomi is passionate about urban ecosystems focusing on trees on development sites, their contribution to the urban forest, and improving tree health and longevity in the built environment. Naomi has worked in temperate, boreal and savannah woodland systems around the world and has both practical and academic experience of working in Arboriculture and Forestry.

As a consultant Naomi regularly carries out BS5837 compliant tree surveys and produces Arboricultural Impact Assessments (AIA) and Arboricultural Method Statements (AMS) to validate and support planning applications and discharge tree related planning conditions. Naomi is experienced as an Arboricultural Clerk of Works (ArbCoW) supervising demolition and construction works close to retained and protected trees. Naomi is also a Lantra Accredited Professional Tree Inspector who is highly experienced in assessing trees for structural defects, pests, diseases, and prescribing tree works with a focus on health and safety and tree retention. In her role at FPCR Naomi will be based at the Dorking office working predominantly in the South East and London.
