Aveline Rowlands

Associate - Ecology

Aveline is an Associate Ecologist with over 13 years’ experience delivering ecological advice across a wide range of development projects. Since joining FPCR in 2017, she has managed projects of varying scale and complexity, with particular experience in the residential sector as well as major commercial developments.

Her expertise spans habitat and protected species surveys, including bats, badgers, reptiles and great crested newts, alongside ecological assessments and mitigation. Aveline has a particular interest in Biodiversity Net Gain and is an accredited River Condition Assessment surveyor (Cartographer), supporting clients in delivering measurable environmental improvements alongside development.

Aveline regularly leads the preparation of ecological reports and technical assessments, including Preliminary Ecological Appraisals, Biodiversity Net Gain assessments, Habitat Management Plans, Environmental Statement chapters and protected species reports. She combines strong technical knowledge with effective project management, helping clients navigate ecological constraints and opportunities throughout the planning and development process.
