Apethorpe Hall, Northamptonshire

FPCR led a decade-long refurbishment of Apethorpe Hall, a Grade I-listed stately home in Northamptonshire, impacting five bat species via demolitions and re-roofing.

This majestic and nationally important grade listed stately home was subject to extensive refurbishment works over the best part of a decade, much of which affected the five bat species which are known to be present in the buildings and its surrounds.

The works included demolition of some structures and extensive re-roofing to others, which required a flexible yet complex mitigation strategy and extensive site supervision in accordance with bespoke working methods and timings.
