The eagerly awaited IKEA retail store at Exeter swings open its doors to the public today.

FPCR are delighted to have been involved in the project. FPCR helped secure its outline consent through the production of a LVIA and photomontages, and has since produced reserved matters applications and detailed landscape design. IKEA’s new store – which is located just down the road from our expanding Exeter Office – continues our successful working relationship with IKEA, having provided a variety of environmental and design services for IKEA’s new stores in Reading, Preston, Milton Keynes and Southampton and the company’s  flagship UK store in Greenwich. FPCR are currently assiting IKEA in securing planning consent for a new store in Brighton, and updating their existing stores in Croydon and Thurrock.
