On Sunday (26th April) the FPCR team should have been running the Long Clawson 10k. With this event cancelled, along with others including the London Marathon, the charity sector is losing out massively from the sponsorship that would have been raised.
The 2.6 Challenge seemed like a great alternative idea for our team. Our 10k race would have been a 6.2mile (2.6 backwards) run, so on Sunday many people still completed a 10k run near their home. Others completed their own walking, cycling or training challenges. A wide variety of charities have been supported including: Trussell Trust, Crisis, Lullaby, Mind, Nhs Charites Together and the Charities Aid Foundation.
