Natalie joined FPCR in March 2020 with seven years’ previous experience in the ecology sector. She graduated from the University of Reading with a BSc (Hons) in Zoology in 2012 and went on to gain an MSc in Entomology at Harper Adams University in 2014.
Natalie has conducted a wide range of protected species and habitat surveys on a variety of different projects across the UK including residential, industrial, railway and highway development schemes in both the public and private sector. She holds a Natural England licence for surveying great crested newts, hazel dormice, barn owls, bats (level 1) and rare reptiles. Her experience includes project management for small and large-scale projects, client and contractor liaison, ecological report writing including Ecological Impact Assessments (EcIAs), preparing protected species licence applications and creating management and enhancement schemes.
In her spare time, Natalie likes to volunteer with conservation organisations such as Butterfly Conservation and Surrey Dormouse Group.
