Associate Director - Ecology
CIEEMHollie is an experienced ecologist and project manager with 19 years’ experience delivering ecological consultancy services across a wide range of sectors, including residential, utilities, renewable energy, rail, highways and flood alleviation schemes. She combines strong technical ecology expertise with extensive leadership and project management experience, supporting the successful delivery of complex, multidisciplinary projects.
Before joining FPCR, Hollie held ecology roles at ADAS and Atkins, progressing from Assistant Ecologist through to Associate Ecologist. Earlier in her career, she worked within the conservation sector in the Cairngorms and with the RSPB, leading volunteer, farmer engagement and public-facing environmental projects.
At FPCR, Hollie manages medium to large residential projects, coordinating multidisciplinary internal and external teams and overseeing suites of ecological surveys and assessments. Her work includes Ecological Appraisals, protected species reporting, Ecological Impact Assessments and Habitat Regulations Assessment inputs. Alongside project delivery, she plays a key leadership role within the ecology team as Associate Director, supporting and mentoring both permanent and seasonal staff.
Hollie is a Chartered Ecologist and Full Member of CIEEM, with particular expertise in habitat and protected species advice, project management and team leadership. She has extensive experience mentoring junior ecologists and managing teams to deliver high-quality outcomes across complex projects.
