Earlier this week our in-house team of aerial tree climbers from our ecology and arboriculture departments gave themselves a refresher in aerial rescue techniques. The team regularly practice this to ensure that they are able to help another colleague in the event of an emergency.
All twelve of our tree climbers are first-aid qualified and have been City & Guilds NPTC assessed. Over half are also licenced to disturb bats and barn owls.
