Rich’s Park, Didcot

FPCR has provided landscape architecture services for Rich’s Park, a major new recreational asset forming part of the eastern expansion of Didcot.

Our Landscape Architecture team was initially involved in developing the landscape strategy to support the outline planning application. Following the successful grant of planning permission, FPCR was subsequently appointed to help develop the Design Code, establishing a framework to guide the detailed design and delivery of the landscape.

Rich’s Park will form an important part of the wider green infrastructure network serving the new residential community, creating a multifunctional landscape for recreation, play, biodiversity and sustainable drainage.

The park has been designed as an integral part of the new neighbourhood, providing accessible green space and helping establish a strong landscape structure for the development as it comes forward.
