Land to the West of Sheffield Road, Hoyland’, was granted consent at online committee. The hybrid scheme comprises a 339,827 sq ft building that will be occupied by parcel distributer Hermes, along with a further 770,000 sq ft of distribution and storage space on a 132-acre plot on land west of Sheffield Road, Hoyland just off Junction 36 of the M1. FPCR undertook the masterplanning for the wider Hoyland West Masterplan Framework area, and prepared the Masterplan Framework – a strategic document that sits beneath the Local Plan and inform this and future planning applications.
On behalf of Newlands Developments, we also provided ecology, landscape & visual and arboricultural services to support the planning submission. The works are expected to be undertaken in four phases with completion envisaged in 2021.
