FPCR have had recent success at Appeal, with housing proposals approved for Stella Property Investments at Sedgefield Durham.

This brownfield site is located at the former Community Hospital site at the northern edge of Sedgefield, by NET Park Technology Park and is capable of accommodating up to 100 new homes together with a comprehensive green infrastructure. FPCR had gone to significant lengths, showing how the masterplan would retain existing trees, and hedgerows which would be supplemented with new belts of planting, to create a distinctive green setting for the new neighbourhood, whilst maintaining separation to the neighbouring village at Fishburn. The local community are fully supportive of the proposals in line with the emerging Sedgefield Neighbourhood Plan.

FPCR prepared the LVIA, Ecology and Arboriculture appraisals along with photomontages to support the planning application. Environmental and design evidence was given by Phil Rech.
