FPCR Complete the Workplace Challenge

What better way to start the New Year than by taking part in the Leicestershire and Rutland Workplace Challenge!

13 members of staff at Lockington Hall signed up to the Active Lunch Challenge which ran from the 4th January until the 28th February. The Workplace Challenge is a national programme designed to encourage workplaces to become active, and in particular, to take part in physical activity during their lunchbreak.

FPCR managed to achieve a very respectable 5th place out of the 23 companies taking part throughout the County, and gain an impressive 273,404 activity points in total. Our Average Points score of 21,031 also saw us take 2nd place in this category. Nationally, FPCR took the 51st spot out of 353 companies competing across the UK.

The top 3 places were awarded to 1st Michelle Tomlisson (58,472 points) , 2nd Helen Kirk (53,636 points) and 3rd Sam Newbold (46,040 points), with Michelle winning a Goody Bag in the Runner up Top Female Category.

We’re now looking forward to our next sporting challenge, the Wolf Run, which takes place in June!
