Jane’s work at FPCR has been varied since she joined the company in 2015. She has worked on a broad spectrum of design and planning projects in the practice although her passion lies in the design of social landscapes and public spaces from concept development stage through to completion. Jane fulfils an advisory role in the company with regards to social landscapes and play area design after working in the play industry for five years.
Jane has won a number of awards for her work in play area design and, more recently, in the design of residential care home landscapes. She has designed bespoke play schemes in major public parks, the hospitality and leisure sector and accessible play spaces for people with a variety of complex needs.
Alongside her work with FPCR, Jane is the co-chair and founding member of ‘Rainbow Places,’ the Landscape Institute’s LGBTQ+ network where she hopes to effect positive change for LGBTQ+ people in the workplace.
