Since graduating from the University of Derby in 2015 with a M.Sc in Conservation Biology specialising in ecology surveying, Hayley has 7 years’ post-graduate experience working as an ecologist at FPCR. Her areas of expertise include Phase I habitat surveys, Phase II NVC botanical surveys and habitat assessments for Biodiversity Net Gain Assessments. Although her main interests lie in botany, she also has a wide range of experience in protected species surveys for great crested newts, reptiles, badger and general habitat assessment for bats.

Hayley is an effective project manager of small and larger scale residential developments, large scale mixed use developments and provides specialised expertise in Biodiversity Net Gain Assessments across a wide range of projects.

Hayley also enjoys going out with her local flora and bat groups and undertaking surveys for the UK Butterfly Monitoring Scheme in her local patch.
