FPCR acted as masterplanning and environmental consultants for the Land at Upper Outwoods development in Burton upon Trent.
FPCR acted as masterplanning and environmental consultants for the Land at Upper Outwoods development in Burton upon Trent, securing outline planning consent for 950 dwellings, a mixed-use local centre, a primary school and an extensive green infrastructure network. FPCR also project managed the planning application process, helping to coordinate the multidisciplinary team and streamline engagement with stakeholders and the Local Authority.
The practice prepared the site Masterplan and Design & Access Statement, and coordinated the Environmental Statement, including the delivery of the Landscape & Visual Impact Assessment, extensive ecological surveys and arboricultural services. FPCR also led the consultation process through public exhibitions, stakeholder workshops and pre-application discussions with the Local Authority and Parish Councils, helping to shape the proposals and support a positive planning outcome.
