ASSISTANT FOR ARBORICULTURE
(Qualified Individual for Surveys)

Our arboriculture team has experienced a rapid increase to our workload in respect of arboricultural assessment work and we are currently seeking an additional arboriculturalist to join our specialist team.

We are therefore looking for a suitably qualified individual, who would be keen to join our team, to develop within the Practice.

The Practice carries out arboricultural assessment work for wide ranging clients within the commercial and public sectors covering an exciting variety projects.

The following are the areas of speciality that you would become involved in: -

  • Tree and woodland Assessments in accordance with BS5837 (2005) ‘Trees in Relation to Construction’;
  • Tree Surveys;
  • Tree Mapping;
  • Supporting Statements for Planning Applications;
  • Individual Tree Reports for Health and Safety;
  • Arboricultural Work Programmes;
  • Recommendations for Care and Maintenance of Trees;
  • Woodland Management Plans;
  • Historic Parkland Plans in respect of trees;
  • Arboricultural Method Statements;
  • Arboricultural Risk Assessments;
  • Veteran Tree Surveys.

Good IT and communication skills are essential, as is a full driving licence.  Ideally, experience in CAD and Corel Draw will be distinct advantages with production of plans and reports, but this is not essential.

Additionally, we would be keen to appoint someone who can demonstrate a flexible and enthusiastic approach to work that they are interested in; and that motivates them to want to work specifically in arboriculture and the development process.
