| Appointed by Hallam Land Management Ltd, fpcr submitted, an Outline Planning Application for a new mixed use development at Bridgwater, Somerset. The project provides a significant regeneration of the northern edge of Bridgwater providing some 30 ha of B1, B2 and B8 employment, and new housing. The proposals include: 2,000 new homes; a Morrisons Regional Distribution Centre; a Primary School; a mixed use local centre of retail and community facilities; a wind turbine as part of the commitment to renewable energy; and a green infrastructure of woodland and open space. The practice coordinated the Environmental Statement, Masterplan and Design & Access Statement. This has included producing a landscape visual impact assessment and an ecological assessment. The application was submitted in December 2008. |
