| The new visitor centre on the summit of Snowdon was officially opened on 12 June 2009 by Rhodri Morgan, the First Minister for Wales. FPCR were responsible for undertaking the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for this complex and sensitive project which included many unique environmental considerations; not least the construction process and the Snowdon Beetle!. The practice worked with the design team on the evolution of the proposals prior to preparing the Environmental Statement to support the planning application. |
