The highly-sustainable Rural Learning Centre at Retford was a finalist in not one but three categories in the LABC Regional "Building Excellence Awards 2009": Best Sustainable Building, Best Educational Building, and Best Technical Design & Construction. The standard of entry was very high this year and the project finished within the top 5 in each category.
