Landscape
design for the redevelopment of the highly rated sixth form college. Initial site masterplanning led to a solution where the new college buildings could be constructed whilst the existing 1950's buildings are still in place. Using the topography of the site the sculpted new landform helps minimise the apparent size of the buildings and maximises the available space for sports and other facilities. An external performance space will be created using the surplus material from the demolition of the existing buildings.
