Project	AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL The American International School on the outskirts of Gaza City, is a fee paying school with 600 students from nursery class to A level. In addition to classrooms and an administration suite, the school building contains science laboratories, computer rooms and a multi media centre. Further phases of work will contain a 600 seat theatre, a 250 seat restaurant, a gymnasium and a swimming pool. The buildings are faced in Limestone from The West Bank. The design involved very close liaison with the local client team, to ensure an appropriate scheme could be constructed within very tight time constraints. The contract value was US $11 million.
