SWADLINCOTE URBAN FOREST PARK
Developed from a design strategy for a new urban park on a brownfield site close to the town centre, the initial stages of the commission involved extensive consultation and liaison. 'Planning for Real' events and schools projects.

FPCR have now produced and implemented detailed design proposals for 5 phases of works to the park and produced a 'Best Practice' guide. The practice have worked with the client to secure further funding, and sponsorship and to explore commercial opportunities. The value of the completed work is £725,000.

A 'Friend of the Park' group has been established for a number of years and has been involved throughout the design development and implementation phases of the park
