MYLANDS HOSPITAL AND THE NORTHERN APPROACH ROAD, COLCHESTER
FPCR carried out ecological surveys of the hospital site and new access road corridor, leading to detailed mitigation proposals, allowing 40 Ha of mixed use development to proceed. Work includes the translocation of an estimated population of 1000 common Lizards from the development site to the nearby Gosbecks Archaeological Park . Long term conservation management proposals for the archaeological park site have been agreed with Colchester Borough Council.
