Responsible for co-ordinating and undertaking a wide range of ecological work for large-scale industrial development to high quality business parks, housing developments and educational schemes. Kate has expertise in a wide range of habitat and botanical survey techniques including Phase 1 and 2 and detailed NVC analysis. She has proven experience in protected species work including badger, great crested newt and water vole surveys and holds specific licences for mitigation associated with European protected species and development projects. Liaison with the statutory bodies such as the Environment Agency and English Nature is an area of particular expertise. Kate has managed the ecological input for a wide range of environmental statements associated appropriate assessments statements. She has been involved in many projects from their outset through planning, implementation and subsequent detailed design, management and maintenance planning.
