Tony has 20 years' experience on a wide variety of projects both nationally and abroad, which spans the industrial, aviation and commercial sectors. He has particular experience in major projects, including the design and construction of large industrial buildings and energy projects.

He has been responsible for the architectural design of many large industrial buildings, often with prominent public aspects. These include the 40m high energy recovery facility in Sheffield, materials recycling facilities in London and Hampshire, and various distribution centres across the country. Other energy-related projects include the spectacular energy-from-waste scheme at Tyseley in Birmingham, the flue-gas desulphurisation works at West Burton power station and Section 36 approvals for number of combined-cycle gas turbine power stations.

Tony has a particular interest in aviation projects. These have included an aircraft assembly & maintenance facility for BAe in Australia, a cargo facility in Kent, a helicopter maintenance hangar in Penzance and the award-winning 'Diamond' jumbo jet hangar at London Stansted airport. Tony was also the detail design co-ordinator for the construction of the departures terminal at Nottingham East Midlands airport.

As well as acting as architect in the traditional procurement route, Tony is equally well experienced in the design & build scenario and has completed many projects whilst acting for client or contractor. He was the partner responsible for the architectural design of the award-winning 'Conkers' visitor attraction in the heart of the National Forest.

Tony is a past-president and the current Honorary Secretary of the Nottingham & Derby Society of Architects. He is also responsible for maintaining FPCR's ISO 9001:2000 quality management system
