The practice have worked extensively with the British Standard 5837:2012 Trees in Relation to Design, Demolition and Construction for both trees and woodland assessments. The arboricultural team has been involved in tree surveys, tree mapping, providing support to planning applications, health and safety assessments, woodland management plans, historic parkland management plans, veteran tree surveys and aerial inspections.

We provide a high level of advice and have recently been involved with the development of the master plans for the Extension of East Luton (Bloor Homes) having assessed approximately 2500 individual trees in accordance with BS 5837 (2005). Other recent involvements include providing tree assessments for support of Supplementary Planning Guidance for the re-development of Selly Oak Hospital, Birmingham, arboricultural management plans for the Landscape Services Department of Nottingham Trent University and a historic parkland management plan for Buckminster Park, Melton Mowbray.

In addition to the above, we are able to offer other arboricultural advisory services including support for tree-related subsidence issues, decay detection and a range of aerial inspection of trees.
